omfg! hahaha had this been april 1'st i would have understood.. this "doctor" Joseph Foriska, have some severe issues.. too many F's in red?
that is just STUPID.. (joins in the eye rolling) i mean i have a daughter in school and i agree some parents are really anal, in some strange directions.. but still to some poit understandable, such as boys and girls shouldent do sports together and whatnot, and even *that* i find idiotic. they are little KIDS! they dont care..
but to dictate a school what kind of color pen the grading teacher has to use, that is just hilarious in a sad way.
pretty meschugge, if you ask me. what are these kids going to do once they are grown up? life will hold tougher challenges for them than grades written in red!
they rise a generation of depressive drama queens.*shakes head*
Ohfer... My secondary school maths teacher used to mark our work in green, and you could barely read it - I'd have preferred red! Frankly, I've always found that if you're going to be told that you're stupid, it's spelt the same regardless of the colour it's written in!
thanks! I felt this icon was a vital necessity on lj and life in general. I consider printing posters. ;)
this whole thing is ridiculous. how can we learn if we don't make mistakes? mistakes are not necessarily a bad thing. but these hyper mothers and dads who worry about the fragile self-esteem of their kids are probably ruining them for life. absolutely idiotic. over here, these parents would be laughed out of school and become the laughing stock in the papers.
School is meant to be for learning. All this is showing the kids is that if you raise enough ruckus you can get your own way, no matter how supid the reason! Jeez!
Just another reason why my daughter is homeschooled.
that's exactly it. school is for learning, and we learn through mistakes. these parents don't do their kids any favours, unless they want their offspring to start a career in politics, that is...
you homeschool your daughter? wow. my respect. it's not allowed here, with exception of very few cases (illness etc.)
LOL, being a teacher, I can state that I use red, orange and pink, depending on the mood I am and considering what class I am grading. There are some classes with kids with dyslexia and learning ability and I usually use pink for those :P hahaha
pink? hahaa! well, in america, you would probably get sued! ah hell, they sue for every nonsense. as if schools wouldn't have other, far more serious problems than the colour of the grades! school shootings, anybody? what a bunch of morons...
personally, I love orange. should I ever write a paper for you, miss morgana, please grade it in orange. :)
