I just switched on my TV and stumbled across the same show... and had exactly the same reaction.

"She really has to love me if she does something so painful for me!"
Yeah, but apparently you don't love her if you can't accept her the way she is - with her (very beautiful) tattoo on her back.

"She really has to love me if she does something so painful for me!"

she lies there crying, and he makes idiot comments. heck, the tattoo obviously never disturbed him when they hit the sack, now did it?

didn't you just want to slap these two?!? and she sits there, "I don't want to do it, but I have to" - meeeeeh. shall we make bets how long this marriage will last?

*grumble*

Oh yeah, I wanted to slap them both, him for being so stupid and - well, her for being stupid as well.

Gah! If a guy ever tells me to get rid of my tattoo, he'll get thrown out! It's not like a tattoo is a ring or a necklace you can simply take off - it's a part of me that tells a lot about me, and if somebody cannot accept that small part, well, then he obviously isn't worth it.

*shakes head* It is incredibly stupid! *shakes head more* If your groom-to-be can not accept such silly detail as a tattoo, I can not imagine what others things he will not accept for the sake of his family (mommy-in-law will possibly say she does not accept her and he will divorce her but well.... The price for marrying an idiot)

PS: The cat at least does not snore :P

yeah. and if he doesn't stand by her now, what will it be like later? mommy doesn't like the kids are brought up? doesn't like the way the living room is furnished? good grief, nightmare!

The cat at least does not snore :P

and how he snores! you need earplugs to watch telly when you're in the same room!

Indeed! One thing is to change something for the other's sake but another thing is to change the other just because the others don't like her/him. If you fell in love with her/him completely it's because you accepted those things the other had you did not like and tolerated them, therefore, you will give a damn if the other does not like her/him.

And the kitty snores? Well, at least it's better than my Dachshund, she tends to roll in her house and moan, and the parrot wakes up and screams if you get inside the kitchen (so you have to tiptoe in it at around 4am when he is completely asleep)

I think I would have given him a rather less polite version of option A.

You definitely made the right choice! *grins*

PS: I find it somewhat amusing that my hubby keeps asking me to *get* a tattoo. I offered to get 'Rúmil' in Tengwar. He looked mildly unimpressed.

Mildly?!
My bf would have raised holy hell if I even used 'tattoo' and Rúmil in the same sentence.

well i know what my response would be.. Feck Off..

it took me till i was almost 40 to get mine.. and no bugger would make me remove it..

i went through hell getting it..and almost fled midway through it.. (i have a VERY low pain threshold)..

plus.. i like it..

Yes, pets are far better than men or children. Cats clean up after themselves, and dogs don't complain about the food or give you attitude.

oh, I think they all have their qualities. and while cats do indeed clean up after themselves, they complain about the food and give you attitude, and the dogs don't clean up. I think in my next life, I'll get myself an ant farm.
