AFI's 100 Years...100 Cheers (And Tears)

This morning, magicwoman asked the question, "What movies make you cry?"

Right on cue, the AFI has just released its latest movie ranking: 100 Years...100 Cheers - the 100 most inspiring movies of all time.

The connection being that these happen to be the same movies that make me cry.

This list is bunk though. Where the frigging hell is Citizen Kane???

I should flog you for not seeing some of the best pictures ever :

The Color Purple; Rudy; Field of Dreams; Dark Victory; and Stand and Deliver. They will all make you weep uncontollably. Especially Field of Dreams. Boys Town is really good too; although I don't remember much about it since I haven't seen it in about 15 years. And why The Green Mile isn't on here , I don't know. Or Cry Freedom. That one makes me cry just thinking about it.
