My dorm rocks, I feel very much at home, this desk is insanely accomodating (I was picturing having everything crammed on and in it, but dude... I will have to put pics up later if possible) ...it couldn't have been easier to get Remy all hooked up to the network, I can't believe I'm already online. Dad was awesome and ran out to get me a cable while Mom and I finished unpacking, and it ended up being all I needed.
Orientation so far is going decently enough - I'm alive. Which is the important part. Just got back from dinner at the Irvine Spectrum (much more than your average mall complex, sheesh...) spent 3 hours with my team... interesting characters. People from all over the place - Colorado and Vegas and Korea... 2 from Korea! My roomie is great, understated like me (the only thing I was afraid of was getting some loud overbearing person), her name's Vanessa and I can tell it's gonna be cool. Mom and Dad just left, they'll be back tomorrow for a few more programs and then I'm here alone till May 13th.
There's gonna be a movie at the commons in about 15 minutes - either Spider-Man or Shrek. Then a meeting at 10:45 for Chi Rho (my dorm complex). They sure aren't letting us sleep tonight.
This is weird, and exciting, and liberating, and claustrophobic, and exhausting all at once.

So, that's all I can say at the moment. But I am breathing, I am sane. That's good enough for now.
