I'm sitting here listening to some glorious VNV Nation b-sides and alternates from their EP Burning Empires, and thinking about how unusual it is for me to be excited at the prospect of an LP full of the same: the band will be releasing Reformation sometime early this year, an album featuring b-sides, remixes, and alternates of their more recent ( Read more... )

Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood?

Thank you! I've heard a lot about Neko Case, guess it's about time I checked her out. I have heard the Decemberists - my boss is a big fan - he plays Crane Wife pretty regularly, and while I like it, I haven't necessarily bonded with the music in any way. Maybe that would change if I really sat down and gave it a fair listen, though.
