Bless you, LOST! You turn me into a giddy Faraday every time you do this. Count me in as one that never gets tired of the time travel conceit (unless it's done without brains); it's something you can play so many ways, simply because there are so many different theories about the nature of space/time and how they interact.

Yes! I think that really is the thing that allows it to stay (mostly) mainstream, despite so much wonky sci-fi going on: people really love the characters - there's at least one everyone attaches themselves to - even if they can't connect with the greater storyarc going on. And by heaven, that ensemble! It's a hard thing to manage, but I think they succeed more than they fail in getting the most out of it. This has got to be one of the most challenging shows to run: I think that's why it's always kept my respect. That they can keep their heads wrapped around everything that's going on and still have confidence enough to throw this madness at us... love it.
