The lovely Season 2 boxset of The X-Files is now sitting next to my DVD player (bless you eBay!), which has been a long time coming. This is the season I'm least intimately familiar with (we don't speak of 8 and 9), but it boasts what's possibly my favorite ep of all time - "One Breath" - and one of the very best season finales ("Anasazi"). I've mentioned this before but I have been watching X-Files for the first time through via netflix, and I found it kind of hard to get through season 1, but now I can't stop!

Oh! What season are you on right now? I agree that Season 1's a bit rough - the show really didn't develop much of an identity until Season 2 hit. Part of why I'm so excited to rewatch it! :)
