Kickin' it old school
The lovely Season 2 boxset of The X-Files is now sitting next to my DVD player (bless you eBay!), which has been a long time coming. This is the season I'm least intimately familiar with (we don't speak of 8 and 9), but it boasts what's possibly my favorite ep of all time - "One Breath" - and one of the very best season finales ("Anasazi"). So I'm really stoked to be able to watch it all in order for the first time. Plus, between Luke and I, we've now got seasons 2 - 7 covered, which is all I've ever cared to own. *fist in the air*!
I've been kind of schizophrenic in my fannish tastes lately. I think I'm just so excited to jump back into fictional worlds again that I can't quite decide where to focus my attentions. I've been watching scattered Farscape episodes (getting terribly distracted by John/Aeryn), Life on Mars (SAM TYLER), and catching up with LOST (about time).
And in about an hour, I'm attending a late showing of Prince Caspian.
Mmm, genre fiction. Does a body good!
