3. Yes, they look like tiny crabs. They may seem intimidating, but anything that eats insects is welcome in my yard.
7. I had that problem with Torchwood, but sometimes its hard to wait. You have much better self-control than I do.

8. I know nothing about the movie except what I've seen in the trailers, but yes: funny. The writer sketches the characters well enough that they introduce themselves.
3. In other garden news, we now have a population of spiny-backed orb weaver spiders (ours look like pictures 9-11).
Eeek! OK, those are scary. We don't have anything like those, and we've got tons of spiders. I keep thinking I need to take pictures of them, to go along with a LJ post that reads, "I never understood Mirkwood, until I moved to Ohio."
10. rt_hon_rackman and I will be going out without the children next Sunday. It's important to have alone time with your spouse every 6 months or so.
