One Powerful Storm!

    We got hit with one incredible storm last night.  It started around 8pm or so, with just some dark clouds, and a bit of lightning and thunder.  Nothing much, just a normal ho-hum summer thunderstorm.  Then things got bad, fast... I had seen the dark clouds and heard the thunder, so I hustled things that I couldn't leave outdoors back into

Extreme weather is always fun. Around here, we're just thankfult hat the record-breaking streak of heat (7 days over 105F) is over with, and it's actually possible to breathe outside without your teeth melting.

The storms, here, were all around us north and south, but they never touched us. I saw on TV that they were heading your way, and I was wanting to phone you to see if you were OK, but I knew you would be too busy to take phone calls. I am so glad that you got through the storms at your farm without trouble. Sorry about the trouble in town. A really good sump pump would sure make life easier for you. I hope yours gets installed soon. I have got two ... one in the house and one in the well pit.
