It's STILL a stupid design, mind you.
As for the beastie.. The blue is an outdated look, but it does provide some good definition for the parts, especially from a disance. You can *tell* it's a bunch of small engines, rather than one oddly-shaped one. I might be tempted to go 'hot rod' and see about some chrome here and there, but it's more industrial than that.

This clutch was never meant to spin, at least not on the outside housing, which is what the bolt in question was holding onto. Letting the clutch-body spin like that would not only not stop the machine, but the potential of shrapnel flying out makes it even worse. Bad, bad design. No cookie. ;)
As for the Beastie, I'm still thinking of the gloss Red & Black scheme. The engines would have the current B&S pattern: Black cylinder/crankcase housing, and red air-shrouds, black again on the recoil-starters. It's just the main body I can't decide which would look better.
