What I saw, kinda missed most of the pilot, but he is involved somehow, he's in some of the promotional pictures, but he looks an awful lot like Jet Black from Cowboy Bebop.

not gonna spoil anything if you haven't seen it yet, but it wasn't bad. They really redid the storyline quite a bit. I do like the look of most of the characters though. I'll probably try to keep up with this one for a bit, see how it compares to the original.
