Thanks to friends on FurryMUCK for the link to this; I'd never heard of Megas XLR until now.  This episode (#9 - Bad Guy) spoofs the 1970's Battle of The Planets (G-Force) and Voltron.  BotP was my introduction to Anime, and it's remained a favourite.  I have the Rhino DVDs where they have one episode of BotP, then the original Gatchaman ( Read more... )

Proxima's Zanpakutō:

Proxima carries Sapphire Man sealed into the form of a paintbrush. At the command "Sunder, Sapphire Man!" it transforms into a gleaming bo which has mystic symbols painted on the shaft. It gives the wielder great skill with the weapon.
