So I come across a story about a group of people at http://www.roguesynapse.com/games/last_starfighter.phpwho went through a lot of trouble to faithfully re-create a game from the 80's that did not exist. "Starfighter" was the game that the movie "The last starfighter" was based on

It plays way too fast on my computer... though when starting up, it eats up half my CPU. However, when it is in the game playing mode, things fly by so fast that there is no way I can get a chance to target. In the training mode, the targets are barely visible on the screen. I'm not sure if I can use it on this computer.

strange. It worked fine on mine. It is very difficult for sure but doesn't seem abnormally fast.
