Omg. I did not realize it was that long. I remember silently cheering for you on the sidelines when you got her...I can't believe that was six years ago!
She is just the prettiest thing around, and she knows it (and -- mostly -- doesn't take advantage, though one pithy horsewoman I know teases me by saying, "I don't think you would have kept her if she wasn't so pretty.")
The photos are from where I board, which is a pretty nice place, could use a bit more turnout and a bit less... oddness from the BO. The video is from goddessfarmer's barn, where I'd love to board but where it's very, very difficult to get into a permanent stall.
Love your hunting season get-up! If they have issues seeing you (are not a deer/elk/whathaveye) they shouldn't be out hunting! I will note you missed the opportunity to have neon orange leg wraps/boots.
That's definitely my favorite view year-round: scenery framed by ears.
I've really enjoyed following you and Feronia over the past (has it really been???) six years! She has a much more mature look to her now. Cheers to Quietann and Feronia!
Yes, the little golden mare needed to grow up a bit. Like a lot of Morgans, she was a "late maturer" mentally; she was 9 when I bought her but regularly taken for a 4 year old, oops. And I *still* get asked if she's a "young one" sometimes just because of how she carries herself when she's a bit excited.

It's so funny, after the very rough start and everything, we're actually a good match.

If you are on FB, there's a whole photo group called "As Seen Through Horses' Ears" with members from all over the world.
