No, no! I refuse to believe a horse with such an innocent expression could in any way be guilty of rider-tanking...

Cracker used to be a terror in lessons and I'd want to cry. I always vowed she would not get the treats I brought her. Then when I took of my helmet and hopped off, she'd always throw her right leg out to scratch with her head, then start rubbing up/down my stomach. Since she never pushed out, I didn't care. I don't think I ever made it back to the barn aisle without having forgiven her 100%. And she always got all the treats I brought.

I was actually on the verge of asking to be moved to another horse because New York and I were not. Working. I was starting to DREAD lessons. Then I swapped my lessons from Friday evenings to Sundays at noon and things were magically better and I love him to bits.

But sometimes they go to shows and we go back to Fridays. And then I guess he has flashbacks. O.o

Oh I do. There's no staying mad at such a sweet, cuddly boy. Even if sometimes he IS a 16+ hh ball of BRAIN NO WORKIE spaz.
