I don't like the Equileather boots at all. My absolute favorite paddock boots are Dublin's. They're about $50. I wore them nearly every day for 3 years until the zipper finally broke on one of them. The leather and soles were still perfectly fine and I still wore them under half chaps. I never had a problem getting them muddy. I rarely ever cleaned them and abused the heck out of them. I eventually ended up tearing the leather on one of them on a nail sticking out of a fence so tossed them...and promptly got another pair. Currently I wear my black ones when I drive a carriage downtown. They wear like sneakers and are comfortable to stand around in all night
