Hey everyone,
I just had a few questions about some products I am thinking about buying, and wanted to know if anyone had experience with them, Thanks!
Okay, so we are sort of looking for a calming supplement for Thunder. A friend used and recommends "Daily Calm." He said he uses it with his horse and that it works well. Also that it is legal with USEF and whatnot.
http://www.springtimeinc.com/product/116/1 Anyone use it? Work well? Or, if anyone has suggestions on another supplement that works and isn't super expensive?
Also, Saxon Equi-Leather boots,
I am thinking about getting the zip-back field boots
http://www.doversaddlery.com/saxon-equi-leather-zip-back-field-boots/p/X1-38585/cn/9/and/or the paddock boots
http://www.doversaddlery.com/saxon-equi-leather-zip-paddock-boots/p/X1-38507/cn/11/ My question is mainly regarding the "Equi-Leather" that they are made of. My current paddock boots lasted me many years, and I am in search of a new pair. I want something that will be durable and last (and since these aren't real leather, i won't mind walking through mud/water).
And, with the tall boots - I want something that I could school in and look good enough to show in. Are they comfortable? Do they actually look like leather and not some cheap rip-off leather boot (. . come on, for $80)? Are they durable and will they last for me (like, into college next year)? And, how are they size-wise? I read a few reviews on horsetackreview.com (mixed reviews, which is why i am coming here, lol) that says the sizes run small and such.
Or, once again, if you could point me in the direction of a tall boot that is not super expensive (leather or not) and is comfortable/will last, I'd love that too :)
[[Edit - found the field boots at $70 :)
