First off.. I am soon going into Equine Massage Therapy.. why am I telling you this? Because I could really use your help. Do any of you wonderful people know where I can purchase anatomy models, equine muscle posters, charts, etc.. that aren't too expensive [as I have to put $800 into the program just to get started]..? Any help would be wonderful

You guys know I love the work you do. And if you do get certified in massage therapy, and, uh, want to come to Colorado and practice on a horse, you know who to tell ;)

The book that is provided pretty much gives you all that you need for the course and the final. You can also get the Breyer model horse that has the skeletal system on one side and the muscular system on the other (it's about the regular price of a Breyer..). Another book you can get later on is "Equine Anatomy, Volume 1" by Ronald J. Riegel, DVM and Susan Hakola (This book is about $80.00). The reason I say later on - is because for the ESMT program, we have specific muscles that we are addressing - so that's what our materials are focusing on.
