Hasn't Rowling consistently said that all the romantic relationships have been pretty much out in the open for anyone to see as long as you don't try to make it more complicated than it is? That's Harry/Ginny, right?
As I commented below, I wouldn't be surprised if Rowling is pushing us toward Harry/Ginny, but I remain unconvinced that she's either a likable character or a good match for Harry. I do, however, think that there's a decent argument to be made for Harry/Luna being around. While she's hardly present in Book Six, at the end of Book Five, she's presented as the only person in Hogwarts who really understands him.
It's a nice idea as i really like Luna. But it seems to me that from the beginning JK is making Harry relive his dad's life. He has his version of the Marauders-yes, even though there is Hermione, a girl-Ron and Neville. Draco is their Snape and Ginny is the red-headed love interest, its just that this time around, Harry didn't notice Ginny at first, unlike Lily not thinking much of James. But thats just my theory, probably is could be wrong.
I just really want Hermione to tell Ron to sod off in the last book, even if she has to die to do it. *puts on flame retardant cape *g*
Wow. There's speculation and then there's speculation. Forgive me, but you haven't read what J.K. herself has said about this have you? The entire point of watching Ginny grow up in the first 5 books is for the readers and Harry to learn that she is the perfect one for Harry. For evidence I refer you to http://www.jkrowling.com.
1) . . . yes, I have read it. And I have visited jkrowling.com. Rather more than once or twice. If it was as obvious as you seem to assume, there wouldn't have been raging debates going on amongst die-hard fans for the past several years
