i wonder just how karma is going to work on this one...?

Al "inconvenient truth" Gore is planning to announce a concert event bigger than Live Aid/8, a multicity concert event whose purpose is to bring awareness and (somehow) simultaneous action towards environmental issues.

well... i don't see the Bob Geldof Live 8 model (as opposed to Live Aid, which actually raised money and awareness) working for Africa, unfortunately. it didn't even cause an ounce of effect towards the G8 summit - which was its prime intention. i have since read that this series of concerts is to be a working model in sustainable design. that part of it i can definitely get behind, as i do believe that showing how it can be done is an effective tool for creating future change ( ... )
