Humor in the ep for me: The Diner was called Cousin Oliver's.

I thought I got the joke, but it was only afterwards that I realized Cousin Oliver was the point where the Brady Bunch jumped the shark...

Now where is Fonzie to jump his motorcycle over the Impala?

Ok, apparently there WAS a Fonzie reference! If you can view this link you can see the poster on the wall advertises a Fonzarelli water skiing tournament!

I loved the episode!

Poor Adam he never even got to meet his brothers. Dean tried to do right by him when he thought he was alive and after he found out he was dead.

I'm so happy Dean's more aware of what's going on with his past relationshop with Sam and his dad. Now if he can find a way to live with it, get past it and go on.

I loved this episode! ITA agree about it harkening back to the old days with traces of what made SP great. (It still is :) )

My favorite part: at the end when Sam said he was going to take Dean saying that Sam was 100% John as a compliment and Dean said "Take it as you want." Much of Dean's emotion in the epi revolved around his resentment of John and the choice he made with Dean - ie turn him into a hunter. That was no compliment he gave to Sam.

Also, squee that awesome, commanding Dean is back!!!
