Apparently two women ended up in the hospital due to infections. However the ban just got stopped, possibly when someone realized how ridiculous it was.
I think the Anna vibe was because Angels don't do touching and when she did it was when she was talking about him feeling things and both literally and figuratively.
Ruby dies for calling Sam, Sammy... bad bitch.
I love Cass, although I was hoping he'd be the one to do the stabbing :(
I still think it will be linked to Sam. But, boy has this episode depressed me now. It has come on slowly, but I am so sad for Dean. I don't think he had a chance. I think Castiel said it was fate. I guess like it was like poor Judas, his fate was written. I think the only choice Dean has is what he does next. It is too big!
Dean and Sam shined in the episode. Sam did what he thought he needed to (sucking Ruby's blood - my jaw dropped) to get to Dean and rescue him. Get 'em Sam!!
I agree about Dean. I am so sad for him. He really took a hit. He already is struggling with the fact that he caved in and agreed to torture souls in hell, but now to believe that his weakness has brought about something he isn't strong enough to fight? Wow, talk about hitting your character in their vulnerable places...
On the flip side, I thought the angels and demons seemed petty. "We're better than humanity so God should love us more." C'mon. At least Christopher Walken was cool when he played that card. Even Alistair admitted they needed a human to start the apocalypse. So after all his big talk, he still needed the lowest creature God created (in the angels' and demons' minds) to get his gig going?
See I think lots of people have been mad at Sam for this and I think it is more like you said. Sam doesnt think Dean should have to do anymore. If Sam does think Dean can't, it is because he knows what Dean suffered down there for him and that it has really changed him. Just because Sam is trying to take things on now doesn't mean he no longer loves or respects Dean.
Right. I think their roles are switching, where Sam is the one who will do anything to protect Dean. However his choices are leading him to do very dark things, which may change him even further.
