I got the questions and idea from
mmmchelle.
Well, considering that in the years 2005 and 2006 I only managed 2 fics each year, 2007 was a banner year for my writing. And we can put the blame credit right on Supernatural. Can you believe when I first saw screencaps of Sam and Dean I thought they were kinda ugly?

What to Expect When Your Impala's Expecting (SPN, gen, crack) Story I'm Proudest Of: Going to have to say "Darkness On the Edge of Town." To date this is the single longest thing I've written so far. I'm proud of the original characters I created for the fic. Also, it was my first experience in pacing and planning a story of this length. It made me feel like I can eventually achieve my goal of writing a novel. Plus, I'm just darn happy with the way it turned out. I loved Sam's journey, and I loved meeting Tony and turning him into Dean. It's the one fic of mine I'd like to see bound as a book to keep on my bookshelf and hug:)
Story most under-appreciated by the universe: I think "Bat and Snake". I was going to say "Gone for Soldiers" but that ficlet suffers from the lack of backstory, since it's just a scene from a much longer story, really. But I really loved writing "Bat and Snake" and I thought I did a good job of meshing the two universes. However, there's not a single place I could post it. I mean really, a Batman/Harry Potter Crossover? WTF? ;)
Story I wrote that I never thought I'd write: I said that about SO many stories this year. "Follow the Black Impala" started as a huge joke. And then
lapillus bunnied me with the idea for "What to Expect When your Impala's Expecting." And I surely never thought I'd write something like "Darkness on the Edge of Town." I think every Supernatural fic started out like "omg, I can't believe I'm writing this!."
Most fun stories to write: "What to Expect When your Impala's Expecting" was by far the most fun to write. It was my happy place when I was in a lot of pain due to my back. Even when I couldn't type, I could daydream about the upcoming scenes and keep my mind off of other things. I think second was "Follow the Black Impala." And then "Darkness." Mostly because I couldn't believe how well that fic came out.
Special Award: I'll give this one to the Jedi fics. They were very hard to write, actually. I can't say they were fun in the same way the Impala fics were. I started "Little Jedi Lost" when I had bronchitus, and it ended up needing to be almost completely rewritten. And "There is No Try" was my first foray into Wincest. For a long time I thought "nah, I don't think I'm going to be able to write wincest...oh crap, there's a bunny..."
Story in progress that will SOMEDAY see the light of day: I have tons of WIPs. The one I'm actively working on right now is an RPS AU which may get turned into original fic depending on how well it goes. And I do want to write that "Four Ways Sam doesn't use to save Dean" fic before the end of Season 3, so I may pound that out over break, just to get it out there.
I'm just so happy to be writing again, guys. I feel like me again. I want to thank all of you for supporting me, whether it was to beta a fic, encourage a bunny or leave feedback at some point. Even if you just read and enjoyed a fic and didn't say a word. Thank you for just being out there.
