You already know I share the FNL love, but those two clips made me tear up. The writing, the acting, the sincerity - these characters all feel real to me and it's not just because I live in Texas.

On a side note - we have a couple friends that were extras last year and they said the cast and crew are great.

I can't watch the clips at work, but there are no words for my love of S1 of FNL. No. Words.

When I think of all the people who've missed out on the show because they think it's just "a show about a football team," it makes me want to cry.

I KNOW! I keep trying to get my parents to watch it, because OMG they would love it - and they even like football - and they're like, "Meh, why would we want to watch a show about high school football?" *sigh*
