Summary: This is to coda of one hundred unwritten moments between Jim Kirk and Leonard McCoy.

( Leonard McCoy has surgeon’s fingers, long with rough pads, thick from practiced use. Jim lets them undress him, under his uniform shirt to skate the undulations of his ribcage. They are pink with fresh skin, knitted tight and new under Leonard’s own fingers, and like clean clothes still starchy to the touch as Jim sucks in a breath between his teeth, straight on top and crooked on the bottom, and holds it in without thinking. )

Oh man, this was beautiful. The intermittent flashbacks really help create a tender, intimate, slightly desperate tone. You really get a feel for how much they care about each other. Wonderful =]

God I love your work - you totally understand these two. This was so real and beautiful. I was trembling while I read it and I'll return to this many times to savour each sumptous detail. You really know how to write these two in love, bb - while retaining their voices, albeit softened by intimacy. Thank you for this.

Very nice piece.
I'm all for Bones in action on the away team but I would think that Jim would do everything to keep Bones safe, i.e. not down there with him. Maybe it is the painkillers talking :)

Yeah, but I just feel that if McCoy was able to hold his own in TOS, he can certainly hold his own in AOS. Kirk trusted McCoy then, and knew he could take care of himself, and I feel the same can be said here too.
