Made with the 'bladey-bladey again in Ye Olde Pride Parade today; was with the Body Pride folks on my 'blades wearin' nuffin' but paint...you know, as per usual. Had the option to march with the Goths and with my dojo, but I'd committed to be with Body Pride last year an' so that's who I went with. So my co-workers saw you and recognized you from the Prop 8 rally. Apparently, you stood out. :D

Helen: "I saw a LOT of your friend!"

Me: "Oh, my Kate-Monster! Lemme guess: body paint and rollerblades, and not much else?"

H: "Uh, not a stitch of clothing and no body paint at all, from what I could tell! She looked great, though; not a hair on her body! It's nice when people are that confident."

I...have a tendency to stand out, like it or not. Heh.

But I was wearing paint, I swear! Blue and gold stripes!
