P'RIDE!
Made with the 'bladey-bladey again in Ye Olde Pride Parade today; was with the Body Pride folks on my 'blades wearin' nuffin' but paint...you know, as per usual. Had the option to march with the Goths and with my dojo, but I'd committed to be with Body Pride last year an' so that's who I went with. Next year, I'm gonna be with the dojo; I promised Brenda, our black belt, that I would be.
I think the thing that amused me the most was the number of dykes who shouted to me something along the lines of, "You shave! Good for you!" I got that more than once; I have to admit that I don't necessarily care for a mouthful of hair with MY pie either, but it still amused me. Heh.
Hung with my crew for a while, got some food, then went home and collapsed for a few hours.
Put myself back together end headed out to the Merc. And then, despite two doubles, couldn't seem to get well and truly drunk like I wann'ed. Oh, I'm buzzed, that's for sure, but I wanted to get my drunk on, big time. D'know why, exactly, I just felt the need to be inebriated; I was halfway to trying to find an LSD connection tonight...just in that kinna mood to not face reality for a while, I guess.
Anywho, didn't do it; just came home an' made with the LJ, which I'm doing now, obviously, so...um...I guess we're up to date an' all. Um...yeah. Sleep now. Nighty-night an' all. :)
