Maybe I'm just in a 'mad as hell & not gonna take it anymore' mood. I broke up with Private Practice tonight, too (it was after watching last week's DVRed episode). I know that none of you probably watches Private Practice (except for the Chris Lowell bits) so I'll say this -- they had a storyline in which two male characters literally competed

I very much agree with most of your Castle shipping opinions, though Castle & Beckett's relationship doesn't bug me that much (I don't ship them, but if they got together in the distant future I wouldn't object too much).

I honestly probably could not watch the show if Castle wasn't Nathan Fillion -- the character bothers me that much. It might be a bit unfair that I keep comparing the show to Psych, but I keep thinking that if the Psych writers can manage to have their maverick police consultant and extremely awesome ladycops, why does Beckett have to get the short end of the stick on Castle?
