So, I got my "Comic Con Update" brochure thingy in the mail the other day. They said "don't worry, we learned our lesson, the Heroes panel will be in Hall H next year." Which I'm actually sad about because, frankly, Hall H is a helluva lot harder to get good seats in. So. Unless there is some other awesome programming in that room that day (say, a Star Trek panel, perhaps?), I probably will not be going to the Heroes panel next year.
This is the first one-third, maybe, of the pictures I took at the Heroes panel (mostly the panelists entering the stage), plus a few out-of-sequence ones that I put on my cousin's hard drive, but also saved back-up copies of on my card, to be sure I would have them. (Which paid off, apparently!)
Jack comes out first, and is confused about where he's supposed to be sitting, which is a good thing for me, since he runs back & forth across the stage, and I actually have a chance to get a few pictures of him before he sits right next to the podium, which is blocked from my line of sight by a cameraman or two, and some other audience members.
Noah comes out, and is also confused about where he's supposed to sit.
Greg does some sort of crazy spin when he comes onstage, 'cause he's Greg:
James:
Masi comes out, wearing the same "Hayden is my hero" shirt from last year:
Masi apparently goes, 'oops, I'm sitting in the wrong place, 'cause Adrian is supposed to be between us' and Greg goes ::fix:: and Masi goes 'oh, noes! messing with the order of the universe!'
Enter Adrian:
Enter ZQ:
Enter Sendhil:
Enter Dania:
Enter Milo:
Enter Tim Sale:
Random shots:
I think it was right out of the gate, the first question, the guy at the mic started gushing about how much he & his wife love Greg. Greg's first reaction is to interrupt the guy to say, "I swing!" but the second thing he does is say, "I have a present for your wife." And then he stands up, whips off his button-down shirt, and pulls off his 'Milo is my hero' shirt (which has been signed by all the cast members [I'm guessing]), revealing an identical shirt underneath, and throws the signed shirt down to the guy. The part of this sequence that I didn't catch with my camera, which I wish to god I had, is that once Greg was down to the one shirt, Masi lifted up the bottom hem to peek underneath.
More random shots:
And these are the out-of-sequence ones, from various times later on in the panel, that I wanted to be sure I didn't lose:
There is a problem with the sound, an annoying buzzing. Masi & Adrian aim to fix it. Afterward, Greg fixes the skirt on the table that got dis-arrayed.
The thing about these is, Adrian slings his arm around Greg's shoulder for no apparent reason. And leaves it there for a couple minutes while Greg continues to talk.
And here is the kiss. Out of nowhere, Greg pauses everything just to say how "gorgeous" Sendhil is. Sendhil grabs him to fake make-out with him, and afterward fans himself so hard that he knocks over his nametag. Greg pretends to read Sendhil's thoughts, and says, 'Don't worry, it was a one-time thing.'
And here's when Kevin Smith came out to announce Heroes: Origins (which, sadly, is no more), and these, specifically, are the reactions to him talking about "those gay Japanese guys". (I wish I had the other pics from this series, too, because I'm pretty sure ZQ & Ali are sharing a chair, which is ADORABLE.)
And that's all, folks. I'll post the rest of my pictures if/when I get them!

Also, Maxim online has a
video about the Assassin's Creed release party. It has brief interviews with Kristen, Masi, & Greg at the party, and incorporates a tiny clip of Kristen doing voice work for the game.
