Who there. Weird to be on livejournal again. I can't actually access lj from most of China, which means I probably won't be updating for the next, hm, 7 months at least. I'm in Hong Kong at the moment. Weird situation- technically China, but secretly a completely alien place. Makes me miss China, actually. Freaking expensive here.

Okay, well I'm glad I was so faithful about updating this semester. I would make excuses, but really I just got a little tired of it. Right now I'm burned out from finals and waiting to finish my last one at 10:30. Why did I get up early again?

Amazingness
Wow. School this year is amazing. Really. I have never been so happy and excited. I have a wonderful job in the East Asian Languages and Literatures Office where they actually pay me $7.25 per hour to come in, turn on the lights, and do my homework for several hours. Plus, I get to meet and spend time with all of the professors in the department. ( Read more... ) -

It's been a while since I posted I think. Yep, quite a bit of time has passed. Don't worry though, I'm still pretty much the same person. Apparently going to a foreign country is supposed to inspire great person growth, but as the weeks have passed I have come to realize that I really am not very growth-prone. Home Again
So back home. Home is weird. Really. I have gone from living in two places to one place to three places. Mom's and Dad's-> Mom's -> Mom's, Dad's, and my aunt's. Please. One home is more than sufficient, even if it is flooded and unsanitary. Hopefully all will be well by post-China days ( Read more... ) -

Well, this is probably my last update for a long long time. I actually was supposed to be on my home two hours ago (I'm going to be late for my dying great-aunt's birthday. Twenty page Philo final has morphed into man-eating forty page final nightmare. Almost three-fourths of the way done. Too bad it takes me eight days to write a paper these days. Must compress eight into .5. I will ask my room mate. Math majors do things like that, right? -
