Whoops, forgot to say what that guy is in my hurry to post before the concert. It's a yellow-eyed junco, that little bird that comes out in the late afternoon at high altitude that we were talking about on the trail.
Those pics rock Walter! Thank you for the advice, they actually looked better when I got home, I think my parents monitor was kind of off. I found enough good ones for the assignment at least.
Maybe I can get Spore from you Wednesday after 6:30pm? Also, if you wouldn't mind me swapping my battery out with a charged one of yours, I still can't find my charger. I think I'm going to have to order a new one, why am I losing things lately?!
Also my mom gave me a tripod, but I need the thing that goes on my camera to attach to it, can I get those in town? She also gave me a wide angle lens, that would be totally sweet, but it needs an adapter? So yes, cool things for free, if I can make them work.
And monitors do matter. I wound up oversaturating a bunch of pictures because my laptop screen is poo; they looked better once I got them onto a proper display. (All laptop screens aren't poo; mine just is.)
I want to go out shooting with you again, btw ... that was fun! I was serious about going to the summit of Wrightson sometime... we can drag Sabs too, as she rocks. :)
I will bring all my camera stuff on Wednesday so you can check it out and we can talk about future picture plans (I should get my new assignment Wednesday morning, so I'll know what kind of things I'll be needing to shoot.)
