It's all helter skelter in the end [Voice]

[Transmission begins with a bit of static and a distant "La di dah di dah" sung off key, then a sighed "whew"]

What a mess, Econtra. What. A. Mess.

[There are gritty sounds of rubble being tread upon and kicked aside, wreckage left behind from the Indigeo's game of tag. Echoing in the distant background are sounds of destruction - electrical cracks ( Read more... )

I should have known you would have gotten out. I think a part of me was expecting it... She must like you if she's willing to help you the way she did. Did you enjoy your time with her?

It was short... I assume you wanted to come back here as quickly as possible.

And if it's all the same, I'd like my picture back please...

[[ooc: Just assuming that things went according to plan and playing along. ^_^]]

She's a very gracious hostess, the Princess. Knows how to entertain a guest.

Anyway. Enjoy the show, Helena? So glad you could be an active participant, we couldn't have done it without you. [definitely grinning, you can hear it in his voice] I love an interactive audience.

Oh, the picture--You want it back? Well, sure! Come right over! Maybe on your way you can give my regards to the Warden.

[And right on cue, there's an ominous crackle of electricity in the background]

[There is a definite pause, almost like an awkward silence eminating from Helena]

"I- uhm, I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I, for one, did not think it was a show... I really wish you would not depend on her though. Harvey and I could have gotten you out with little more than a slap on the wrist for you, I'm sure... But she's more dangerous than you could imagine..."

[Helena's voice is serious, stern].

"But I suppose that is what you like in her... and yes, I would like the picture back, even if I have to come out there to get it..."

[Helena waits for the crackling to cease].

"Tell me where you are and I'll be there as fast as I can without getting shot down by the warden..."

A slap on the wrist? If it were up to you two, they'd have thrown me back in the vault expecting me to stay there, kidding themselves for another day. Bank vaults and prison cells aren't exactly interchangeable when it comes to security, Sweets. [a sly insinuation there toward the ease of escape]

But I'm a man who prefers a good show and the Princess was all too eager to play a role.

[Another CRACK, this time much closer. There's a moment when the connection cuts in and out with loud static and maniacal laughter. Finally the ruckus dies down to some quick breaths and a smack of lips.]

Hooo... the Warden and I were just playing some tag and I was almost It.
