Shannon enjoyed herself well enough at the last slumber party, although part of it had to be being invited. It helps that she's grown a little closer to people since then, she supposes. She doesn't feel left out because nobody invited her-- she feels like she's expected to be there.

It's a nice feeling.

Still, if the mansion separated them it was probably for a reason, so she's keeping an eye out for anybody breakin' the rules. She's set up against a wall, wearing her tasteful yukata and watching out for trespassers.

Not that she's adverse to partyin' a little, of course.

Katara shows up in a very pretty yukata, fresh from the hot springs. She enjoyed herself very much, practicing her Waterbending and just soaking in the warm water.

Now she's refreshed and ready for this little gathering. She doesn't show it, but she's a little nervous, since she doesn't know a lot of people in the mansion other than her brother, Zuko, and two or three others.

But this is a good opportunity to change that, so she takes a breath and walks into the room. "Hello?"

Beiste gives the girl a wave and gestures for her to come in. "Hey there. Welcome to the shindig."

She doesn't remember this girl's name, though she's seen her around. She's hard to miss, being just about the only non-white-or-Japanese chick in the place.

"That, uh, dress thingy suits you." She glances down at her own, still not sure if she was wearing hers right.

"Gather 'round, my broodmates of the female variety! I have researched your womenly cultures and have come to an important conclusion! Multi-nighted slumbering parties need gossip, drama, and 'girl-talk-time.' The last one is the most important."

Terezi's made the room a complete mess. All the neatly folded bedmats and pillows have been forced into pile on top of the table. There are also way too goddamn many souvenirs and sweets cluttering the floor. Terezi, like the party goddess she is, is perched on the top of this pile, beckoning all the womenfolk to her fold.

Feferi's sat not too far from Terezi, clearly listening even though she's also...well, doodling or writing, it's hard to tell when she won't show anyone. But she looks up at Terezi's command, obviously curious.

"What kind of girl-talk-time?"

Terezi grins for a few moments, trying to recall all her human slumber-party studies. Which consisted of watching Mean Girls about six times. Which doesn't really count for much.

"I dunno. It's something human females do a lot. It's important for bonding, I believe."

Now, granted, Kurt's living situation during this event is pretty ideal. But you don't understand. He thrives on sleepovers. All of the gossip and makeovers and manicures make life worth living. And knowing that the girls were all off having a fantastic sleepover was just torture. He can't take it anymore.

Which is why, of course, he's planing on sneaking in.

Now, he's not really sure if there's something magical keeping the girls and the boys apart, but he figures it's better to be safe than sorry. He's used significantly less to cement his hair in place, so that he could brush it as long as it will go. Sadly, it's not very long at all, so he makes the point clearer by pinning a blue flower in his hair, and changing into a slightly more floral kimono. He still looks like himself, and it's not going to fool anyone, but at least it's a small effort. Besides, blue is an amazing color on him ( ... )

Beiste glances up at just the wrong (right? wrong?) time to spot Kurt walking past her. Instinct takes over and she grabs the bottom of his yukata from her spot on the floor and tugs.

"Hummel? What're you doin' here?"

She'll probably let it go if he doesn't act suspicious, honestly. Yuu already proved this isn't dangerous, but well. If he's here on some pranking mission, she isn't having it.

Kurt freezes in place, obviously unable to go anywhere with her holding onto his yukata but still looking anxious anyway. He looks down at her and, well, he's never been that great at lying to authority figures. If he was, he would have already tried convincing her that he was a new arrival named Millie who was experiencing some severe culture shock since Wonderland is nothing like Manhattan at all, and oh, if she saw a boy named Jimmy, could she let her know? That would be great because she's craving that thing called love. But sigh, she knows she should just forget about the boy. But Jimmy...oh Jimmy.

Where was he? Oh. Right. Being a bad liar.

"...Attending a sleepover? Hopefully?" He kind of squeaks his response, nervous about being caught so soon.
