The younger boy, or at the moment dog, was padding up quietly behind Remus without a care in the world. When Remus turned to look at him he bounded forward and jumped at the other boy, preparing to lick his face.
Remus sighed and prepared for the onslaught of puppy love from Sirius. Somehow it was easier to deal with him as Padfoot. He could just pretend that this was lovable puppy with no other strange and unsure relationships attached to him. He made a large noise of protest as Sirius licked him on the cheek.
"I hate that you know," Remus groaned wiping at the doggy drool.
The other boy transformed back into his human self before making a quick check down each end of the hallway and cornering his 'friend' against a wall. "Can't help it, I really wanted to kiss you." Remus had waited for Sirius to kiss him like that for what felt like ever, dreamed about, longed for it. But now it felt awfully hallow. He wanted to know what exactly what Sirius was playing at. He hated being here so much at that moment. If they didn't have those damn journals, he never would have seen that comment that Sirius left James. He hated everything, but he felt like he couldn't hate Sirius. He wanted to, but he couldn't. Its not like Sirius had promised him anything. He really couldn't be angry at him for kissing someone else, especially a girl. That was the logical thing for a bloke to do after all. If that was what Sirius wanted, then he wasn't going to stand in his way
