Any ideas?

My coworker found this insect on his clipboard that had been outside. I find it fascinating, but I'm not sure what it is.

We're in Northwest Australia.

Any guesses? Maybe a weevil?

Definitely a weevil of some sort. Sorry I can't be more exact.
