It was too crowded in his normal work station. The other computer scientists were too loud, too obnoxious, and too full of themselves. They insulted everyone, regardless if there was a reason. They were too quick to get annoyed at fixing little problems that would take less than five minutes. They ignored the fine details

He looked up and frowned at him expectantly. He was in the corner of the room in the far back behind the accelerator. He heard the environmental controls shift the air in the room as if it were hermetically sealed. In many ways, it was.
"Need something?" he finally asked.

He huffed and got up watching the younger man from the opposite side of the machine he was inspecting.
"Testing?" he asked, fidgeting. "I looked over them when I came in."
Donnie found his hand running over the smooth surface of the machine he was standing near. The console the ensign was on was connected to this machine.
