Sickbay - Day 31 - closed/unfinished
Sickbay was quiet this morning. Festively decorated and prone to having things play bits of carols when they were used, yes, but not very busy. So, really, this was a good a time as any to have that conversation she didn't want to have. Except she did want to have it because she wanted the issue clarified as quickly as possible so that she could stop worrying over it. And if he was thinking about her that way, it was better she set him straight before he could get too heart set on being with her.
Christine took a deep breath. Even her thoughts were rambling out of control. This was not good. Except it could only get better from here, she figured, so she might as well get to it.
Approaching the door to the office of the ship's Chief Medical Officer, she smoothed her skirt, evaluated Leonard's sitting-and-glowering-at-work pose, and stepped into the doorway, clearing her throat. "Doctor McCoy -" She paused, corrected herself. "Leonard. Can we talk a moment?"
