Sickbay -- Day 31 [private/finished]
Leonard finished the review of another report done and outta his hair. Sighed contently and leaned back in his chair. Another thing to tick off his To-Do list. At the rate he was going, he'd be itching for something to happen start of their next assignment.
He quickly banished that thought. He wouldn't call himself superstitious exactly. But no sense in tempting a very fickle Fate.
Sitting in his office, staring at his half-empty, half-cold cup of half-real coffee, Leonard thought about the sobering thought. Another assignment, coming up in a few days here. Wasn't like he didn't expect this on a five year mission. But after that first assignment? Damn. Well, guess he'd just have to put those things behind him, move on. Not all things that'd happened recently were bad, anyway. As he looked over his schedule, saw he had a gap for tomorrow, his mind lit upon one brightly shining example of the pleasant times.

He really should check in on the man, see how he's sleeping these days. No, scratch that. He should get together with the man. Seeing how he wouldn't be seeing much of him for a while. The thought made Len frown some, go a little cold. Grabbing a PADD, he pondered wording, fussed with a few drafts. Finally told himself to get a grip. This was Chris, after all.

Hey Chris, how's the job been treating you? I hope you don't mind the text. I see I have a free moment on my calendar, and too few days left before we leave port. I thought it'd be nice to meet up again before then. You got any time to spare?
