Kitchen - Day 21 [open/unfinished]
Free time on the Enterprise would've been spent by most crewmembers either sleeping or in one of the recreation or exercise rooms. Free time for medical personnel - or at least the Chief Medical Officer and his Head Nurse - was almost always spent sleeping.
Christine had discovered a better use for her time today, though, reverting to a hobby she hadn't catered to in years. Sure, it had required a few conversations and a threat of life or limb should anything be broken from Chief Petty Officer Tony Corin, but she had no doubt it would be worth it. Nothing relieved stress quite as nicely as a warm batch of brownies baked with sharing in mind did. And heck if this ship wasn't up to the nacelles in stress.
Currently, Tony was sitting in his office, hopefully unable to hear Christine's happy humming as she bustled around, mixing and whisking. So what if she was being too cheery about it? These were going to be the best brownies ever.
