Medbay -- Day 13 (open to those who are sick, infected, injured ect. ect.)

Sep 27, 2009 00:14

Sammy had everything ready for Doctor McCoy but was still rushing around checking to make sure that everything was fine and dandy before she finally slowed her ass down to a stop and breathed for a second or five. She quickly thought over all the things that had to be done and mentally checked each one off until she knew that she had finished. Sam ( Read more... )

"Hey, can we get some attention here?" Creed called. She and Rousseau were shepherding a thoroughly spored Sky - still clad in that barely-there dress and covered in glittering gold dust - into the Medbay. Glancing down, she realised that she was covered as well. Thank god for the biomask.

Thank goodness for the biomask. Rousseau's face was flushed red at Sky's rather...amazing state of undress, as she helped hoist the spored girl over to the bed nearest the door. "We'll have to decon her here," She glanced to Creed, a smile blooming over her face. "Thank you for your help."

"Not a problem," Creed replied. She gestured vaguely at her gold-glittering arm and side. "I assume I'll need decontaminated too...?"

"That would -- probably be for the best, yes." She set about busying herself around the medical bay, closing the curtain around and setting the biobeds to decontaminate, having a feeling there would be more than just a few cases that had gotten past the decon chamber. Rousseau set up another makeshift chamber around a second biobed, and guided Creed inside with an outfit of clean, contaminant-free clothes.

Only when the area was detained did she feel it safe to remove the biosuit, her science blues underneath, folding up the gold contaminated material and settling it down onto the foot of the biobed. She fixed the controls, and set it to decontaminate the both of them -- the thin forcefield around them enough to filter out any of the spores that were in the area.

Or at least, it should have ( ... )

Leonard rushed as fast as he dared the rest of the way to Sickbay, not wanting to dislocate something on poor Cassie. He wasn't trying to be cruel or insensitive. Just that the news he'd received was damn distressing. If Sickbay fell completely... well, there'd be no other place to run. Except for the closest space suit and airlock. Even then he had to wonder, as the spores on the shuttle craft had survived the trip.

Despite the growing panic, he managed to calm the fuck down and think upon seeing the doors to Sickbay. He came to a stop several meters away, thought about their current location. "You stay right here," he instructed Cassie as he ran a ways down a corridor. Eyes on the wall until.... Yes! There! He found an supply panel in the wall and tapped the buttons. Digging in, he pulled out a fire suppression mask. It'd work well enough in a pinch. He didn't know what the hell he'd be walking into. Fitting the mask on as he came back over, he guided her into the Bay with him ( ... )

Aiden stood near the door to the medbay and at the entrance of the Doctor, his green eyes widened with relief. Quickly he made his way over to the other man, giving him a nod of greeting before launching into a succinct and hurried explanation of events.

"Doctor. We managed to locate Lieutenant Cavendish, and brought her back here." His hands waved at the curtained biobeds over to the side, "There was a failure with one of the biocontainment fields of the beds, Commander Creed and Nurse Rousseau are now both contaiminated, but for the moment the Spores have not passed through the curtain."

Noise had though and at the noises the young man's cheeks flamed with colour. "Um....Miss Cavendish is still in there Doctor..."

Listening to the conversation and hearing the noises, Cassie put two and two togther. The two women must be makeing out. That thought broke her completely. Standing behind the Doctor, she wrapped her arms around him and lay her head on his shoulder. She began to moan.

"That's what I want hot stuff. To be like them. Oh god."

It was a wonder he heard anything, with that damn biobed screeching like his sister Sam used to in one of her moods. But thankfully there was a boy in red there to fill him in. "Calm down, son, that mask only lets in so much air," he reassured what seemed to be a rather young man indeed. Jeezus, did Chekov have an enlisted twin?

Nodding and listening, he looked towards the occupied biobed, curtain drawn. Sky? Oh thank fucking god. Before he could go over there, though, he had a pair of thin arms around him and a feverish body pressed against his back. He twitched at the skin memory that provoked, but the weight was too small and light, the heat not enough. And his hand wasn't going in any more damn pants. Still, it was disconcerting. He resisted the urge to tell Cassie that if she wanted to be a lesbian, that was more than fine with him. Instead, he was saved by the comm.

"... We've got plenty of biobeds you can sit yerself on," he replied instead. And someone pull the curtain shut before the girl got any more ideas. ( ... )

Kirk was en route to the medical bay, Spock beside him, the mask he'd been warned to wear quite obviously not on his face. Dr. McCoy was right -- if it hadn't affected him by now, it probably meant something.

More and more cases were appearing. It seemed like quite a few people were stalking their way to the sick bay, desperation on their faces, and Kirk tried to get a young ensign to walk with them that had been masturbating furiously in the hallway. This was insane. Kirk hailed McCoy quickly on his PADD, typing one message 'It's spreading somehow. We're on our way.'

Kirk sighed, trying to keep his wits about him. This was for lack of a better word, insane. "We've got to figure this out." He paced his way to the medical bay, hand dug deep in his pockets.

Spock had been thinking of a way to counter the pollen but with so little known about it and not having been able to study it in a scientific environment had placed him in the dark as well. Plus just about every time he’d started thinking about the subject another subject popped up in his head making it impossible to concentrate. “Captain,” Spock didn’t turn to address the man. “Once those infected are all taken to the Medical bay then Doctor McCoy and myself will be able to start research on the pollen and hopefully develop a cure.” The Vulcan stated and then turned to look at his Captain. With his former Captain heading in it put a new strain on the situation but there was not a way to make the cure within 48 hours and that was that.

Kirk admittedly was panicked that Pike was on his way in, wanting to prove that he could handle a situation of this magnitude. He was acting like a captain should, walking stoicly down the hallway, taking a sharp right turn to the turbolift and heading inside, pressing the button for the medical bay. "I hope so," He muttered, almost a little nervous to see the situation for himself. The spores were spreading quickly. "Do whatever you can. I want this isolated, and I want you both to work hard on figuring it out."

He looked straight ahead for a moment, looking back again. "Maybe there's something I can do? If I'm in no risk of being affected..."

“You may not be able to be infected Captain but there is little you could do in the lab,” Spock pointed out as he looked back at the Captain. It wasn’t that Spock didn’t need the help it was just he didn’t think the Captain would be capable of working with either Doctor McCoy or in the Science Lab. The other man had been Command Track for a reason just as Spock had been Science Track for a reason. “We will combat the infection to the best of our abilities sir,” the lift doors opened and Spock stepped out into the almost empty hallway.

Leonard had been watching the bio readings and watching Cassie respond. Clinically, of course. So he was completely unprepared for getting snuggled from behind. After all, Cassie was in front of him. He looked down at himself just as a purple hand came up and...

Oooohh sweet Jesus, no, no, nonononononono-- mmmrph!

Holy shit, he hadn't kissed a woman properly in ages. He could either blame that or the spores for being blown right flat on his ass. Everything else was kind of a blur. He heard the command to 'come' and almost did. Christ, this shit was powerful.

.... This... shit!

Shaking his head, Leonard glared at Tony and his sandwich. "What the fuck, Tony? I dunna need a damn sandwich! I need a fuckin' chasity belt now!" Then the words sunk in. "Oh Mary Mother on high!" He dashed over to the work station Spock was supposed to be working at, typed in data as quickly as possible. He was racing against time, against metabolism.

Against damn biology.

Spock watched in horror what went down. The Vulcan just about attacked the lady but then she was gone, away from the doctor but the rage still came. She had touched what wasn’t hers and what he wanted. The officer’s mind clouded with the anger of her actions and all thoughts of eating went out the window. He fisted his hands and went ten times more tense then anytime before. Spock was mid step in going after her when he turned back and walked briskly back to McCoy. “Doctor,” he gritted out as he looked over Leonard. “You are unharmed correct?” he made sure again and scanned the man. He must just be infected now but Spock couldn’t get the image of that kiss out of his head. This only served to anger him more.

Just then, there was another man from the science department -- Ensign Murdock, a fair haired, fair-skinned gentleman that had set his sights on Spock, greedily pushing his way in between McCoy and Spock. "I've always -- " He groaned aloud and moved forward unexpectedly, lurching into the Vulcan, hands lifting to toy with the tips of Spock's ears. "I want yo- no, I need you right now, Commander, always have - " He mumbled, the other hand skimming down Spock's solidly built torso, his skin flushed with heat.

Cassie sat up and watched and called out "HOT STUFF! FEELS SO GOOD. IF YOU WANT ME. I'M YOURS."

Then she pulled her legs up beneath her and wrapped her arms round her legs. Something else was happening. The feelings inside of her had dampemed down to a dull ache. Ok, it still didn't feel normal but it was definitely better than it had been.
