It's been so Autumnlike here, and I so moved by it that I almost posted about it myself.
For me, the onset of Autumn is associated with the start of the school year and all the hope and promise that always held, combined with the all-sensory experience of whay I find to be the most beautiful season.
These faux-autumn days we are having are really messing with my head.
I think Scotland represents a mythical signpost between my last life and this one.
I can see why, given the timing.
Part of the reason why this autumn seems so particularly powerful to me is because of the major, possible, immanent life changes ahead. I feel like I'm about to become a chrysalis and emerge as something different.
