But it normally makes things so much easier than manually selecting each letter. Until you type without looking and it doesn't get what you want!

I invited people over to dinner once in college and realized I didn't have enough plates for everyone. I went to text "bring plates!" to my friend, but the phone wanted to say "bring slaves." Is my phone from ancient Rome? The antebellum South? "Bring slaves!" became a big inside joke with us.

You'd think that would have taught me to be careful about what I text, but every so often, something slips through. The other night I was texting about baseball and sent someone a message saying that Julio Lugo was on first "with no nuts." Oops. Meant to say "no outs."

Oh, and I think I texted Georgy something about "frogs" by accident a few weeks ago. Or maybe I meant to write "frogs" and got something else. I forget. Either way, I was traumatized.
