the hazards of texting
So last Friday, I went and picked up some delicious H&H bagels from this tiny shop near where I go for PT. I sent my wife a text message from my phone to let her know: "I just bought you some of the most delicious bagels!"
I came home and she returned from Starbucks, and to my horror, removed a bagel from a little bag. "What're you doing?" I blurted out, scandalized. "I bought bagels!"
She showed me her phone:
I just bought you some of the most delicious acids!
Stupid text recognition software. I could have sworn I taught it to spell BAGEL.
