SUMMARY: Lavi goes poking around in the kitchen for food then, from what he had heard on all of the journals, decides to go hunting for something edible.

Matt had been planning to go help someone learn to use the computers, but the mentions of food (and himself barely eating) apparently woke his stomach up and it just wouldn't shut up. Whoever he had been talking to could wait; he'd understand and there wasn't really anywhere (safe) to go anyway.
He made his way carefully down the stairs, because he wasn't sure he wanted to trust elevators in a place set up like this, and towards the kitchen. Matt had been in there before, so he didn't really expect to see anyone there when he pushed open the doors and entered.

Lavi jumped at the sudden creaking of the kitchen door hinges and nearly fell from the spot he had taken up on the kitchen counter. He scrambled to his feet, setting the empty pot he had been holding for no reason on the counter and peered around to see another red head with strange clothing standing near a door.

"Ah..!" he greeted brightly, ducking out from his hiding spot. "Hello!"

Matt smirked a bit. "I'm safe, unless you're going to try and attack me anyway." He paused for a moment, looking over Lavi before heading over towards him. "I'm pretty sure anything we need to worry about here would either be silent, or start screaming to freak us out before it got close.
"Did you find anything worth eating?"

Lavi blinked before replying with a grin, "You don't have to worry about me either. I'm Lavi, by the way..!" he held out his hand, the other slipping behind his head as he continued to grin easily.

At the boys question, he peered around at the kitchen, a glum frown replacing his cheerful smile, "Nothing. I'm considering going on a hunt for food or something."

"I think you're right..." He started saying to Lavi's first statement as he popped up behind a cabinet. "Oh..I'm sorry I've suprised, but you said that I could be here. Unless if you don't want my company..."

He glanced around the kitchen, also seeing Matt there. He waves softly as he looks up at the cabinets that were too high for him, the ones he probably needed to climb.

"Oh, I see," Lavi frowned for a moment at the idea of different worlds then shook his head. That did seem possible but then again, nothing really did in this world.

"Ah!" he jumped then whipped around to find a strange white haired boy standing from behind a cabinent. "Geez! When did you get here?!" Lavi gasped, gripping his chest as if he were having a heart attack.

"Ah...just now actually." He says calmly, looking over the boy. "Did I surprise you?" He tilts his head slightly, as he was trying not to focus on his thoughts so much and look innocent.

"I believe we talked, but if you don't remember it's fine. So..." He looks back up at the cabinets, trying to see pass all the pots and pans for any sign of food. "Have you found anything?"

"Yes," Lavi shivered, frowning before peering down at the boy.

"Um.. have we?" he asked sheepishly with a grin.
