SUMMARY: Lavi goes poking around in the kitchen for food then, from what he had heard on all of the journals, decides to go hunting for something edible.

"I think you're right..." He started saying to Lavi's first statement as he popped up behind a cabinet. "Oh..I'm sorry I've suprised, but you said that I could be here. Unless if you don't want my company..."

He glanced around the kitchen, also seeing Matt there. He waves softly as he looks up at the cabinets that were too high for him, the ones he probably needed to climb.

"Oh, I see," Lavi frowned for a moment at the idea of different worlds then shook his head. That did seem possible but then again, nothing really did in this world.

"Ah!" he jumped then whipped around to find a strange white haired boy standing from behind a cabinent. "Geez! When did you get here?!" Lavi gasped, gripping his chest as if he were having a heart attack.

"Ah...just now actually." He says calmly, looking over the boy. "Did I surprise you?" He tilts his head slightly, as he was trying not to focus on his thoughts so much and look innocent.

"I believe we talked, but if you don't remember it's fine. So..." He looks back up at the cabinets, trying to see pass all the pots and pans for any sign of food. "Have you found anything?"

"Yes," Lavi shivered, frowning before peering down at the boy.

"Um.. have we?" he asked sheepishly with a grin.

"Ah, of course." Matt said, essentally writing off the topic. He wasn't sure if he believed Near, but he didn't really care either.
"Neh. I guess we'll have to go looking somewhere, then. I really didn't want to go out into town, but we might have to...I've never had much luck finding food in here."

"I presume so. I believe I'm the one that suggested this, am I wrong? Maybe I have to look back..." Again Near gets caught up more in his own thoughts rather then trying to remember. Yes, something was getting him to be very irrational lately.

Near turned to Matt, "It looks like that's what we're going to have to do." Near nods to himself looking back out to the outside, "I'm usually not one for it, but what can it hurt?"

Matt frowned and slumped his shoulders a bit. He didn't really want to go out into the town, but...hopefully it'd be okay during the day. The noises always seemed gone or at least quieter when the...well, it wasn't the sun out there, but when it was light out. And they could try asking the NPCs villagers, but Matt didn't expect anything useful from them. He still thought they were from some sort of video game, the way they acted and looked.
"I guess we better go, then. If there's food out there, there probably isn't much, so we'll want to find it quickly."

Lavi nodded in agreement, "I don't think taking a look around town will hurt either. I'll at least have a vague idea about the layout." he stretched his arms before grinning.

"Shall we then?" he pulled open the kitchen door, holding it open for the two.

Near nodded to the both of them as he goes out of the door, not commenting until they all stood outside of the kitchen door.

"I doubt anything's going to happen in daylight. I'm also not up for asking any of the employees anything, I doubt they'd help." He shrugs just looking back outside again, not ready to lead the way.

"Mm, alright..." After leaving the kitchen, Matt started towards the main doors of the hotel and headed out into town. He stopped just outside the doors, though, and looked to his companion. "Are we looking for anything in particular or just any food?"

Lavi followed suit and when they paused at the doors, he tapped his chin thoughtfully.

"Well, lets stick with food for now," he nodded. "If we find anything that interests us, we can check it out."

"In that case, shouldn't there be a resturant out here?" Near looks around for anything that resembled that, wasn't this a town. There had to a grocery store even, maybe full of bland food but...

He glances up at the other two, after all he wasn't that much used to the outside, he had no idea where to start.

"I don't remember seeing one...but the last time I was out here it was dark, so I could have missed something." Matt yawned a bit--he hadn't been sleeping well since waking up in the hotel--and started down the street. "For all I know, the layout changes from day to day, anyway."

Lavi wrinkled his nose.

"Seriously?" he made a face. "That'll be a problem them!"

"It'd be really fucking confusion, at least. But it wouldn't be unexpected in this place. I half expect to see a medpack laying around or something."

Matt blinked at Near. "...Were you hiding back there? Sheesh." Not that was all that surprised that Near had fit into a hiding place...or had felt the need to hide in the first place. Near had never been all that physically able.
"I guess you haven't found anything either, huh?"
