This was the worst event ever! I didn't get to see the evil robot do anything! The second everyone started freaking out dying, I went to go investigate as any Ultra Detective would, but by the time I got down a few flights of stairs the poison got to me

Of course! There's no point in all of us dying if I can't see the interesting cause of it!

No. If I told her I died trying to find her, I'll never hear the end of it! Worse, she'll probably use it as leverage for something!

You could say that. And no, I didn't happen to see the computer. I didn't even know what was going on until later, after I had gotten out of the hotel, and even then the information I received was jumbled and broken.
