Which book of hers were you referring to? I had heard of Susan Faludi, but had to do a google search to figure out why.

The Beauty Myth, which now I check was by Naomi Wolf. Oh brother! I need more sleep.

The Faludi books I got the most out of were Backlash (disturbing but hard to ignore) and Stiffed.
