Sing it, sister!

Of course, I really don't read romances. I read a lot, but I'm pretty picky. If you want snarky, witty novels/ murder mysteries let me know; i'll have lots of recommendations!

Good luck on the job front!

Thanks!

I'm getting a lot pickier. It used to be that if there was some semblance of a plot, I'd read it. These days, I want to be enraptured, and you'd better not make me mad, otherwise I won't finish it. *g*

I completely agree with you on your pet peeves. That's the same reason I don't like S3 Bangel. I can stand season two, and I don't really remember season one... but gah. Season three + is torture.

And good luck with your interviews/results stuff! That's all very scary to me. Tomorrow I have to drive to Monroe to do my French interview for a scholarship. Yikes!

Yes! That's exactly it. I don't mind the Bangel in S2, but in S3 I just want them to get over it already. Heh.

Hope your interview went well!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the interviews - and throw that book across the room!

Thanks! And, heh. I don't think I'll be finishing it, that's for sure.

Good luck on the interviews. As for books, there are many books that I do not finish for one reason or another. And, I have walked out of movies, too.

I haven't walked out of a movie, although I've been tempted to. In the past, I've always finished the books I started, but that's changing. I don't have enough time to warrant wasting free time on a book I don't care for.

I liked your thoughts on your book, you made me smile ( in a good way).
I love romance but I'm pretty picky and I tend to avoid the 'Love that's too easy' stuff.
I prefer the 'Love that's too hard' - and this is why I 'm so addicted to Spuffy - but I definitely wait for a hopeful ending.
My favorite story is 'Wuthering Heights '; I always thought that it had similarities with Spike and Buffy 's story. Although Catherine dies and Heathcliff is left alone and miserable , they find a way, twenty years later, to be together.. even if it's in death.

Good luck with your job interviews.

Thanks. I don't mind love that's hard stories, it's the ones where people are just standing around and whining about love being hard. That annoys me. *g*
