Well, most of the time I find history comforting. I was reading Rebels at the Bar by Jill Norgren tonight, which is a really interesting look at the first women lawyers in these United States. Dude. I need to read that book like, yesterday. I was just having a conversation with a female coworker today about how much of a boy's club my company is. As if working for a start-up isn't hard enough, the men have to go and close ranks and revert to outdated stereotypes. 70% of my job is just trying to make these men understand that OMG! I'm actually an attorney and should be heard (not brushed aside simply because I'm a woman)
